Full time, salaried, exempt position responsible for managing a busy Internal Medicine Practice in Surprise, Arizona. The Office Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the practice including:
• Staff Scheduling
• Payroll
• Credentialing
• Prior Authorization
• Health Plan Issues
• Interface with off-site billing company
• Human Resources
• Staff recruitment
• Clinical and administrative inventory
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline preferred, minimum High School diploma or GED required. Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Office Manager for a primary-care based medical practice.
Must demonstrate consistent professional conduct and attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills with patients, staff, and other health care professionals; a “team player.”
Must possess good time management skills and familiarity with standard computer programs including Word and Excel; must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and the ability to handle stressful situations with patients and staff.
